Most recently, while perfecting a new variety of disease resistant eggplant, researchers were discouraged by a prominent nose-like growth on the vegetables. "We're not quite sure where we went wrong, but at least they're not runny noses," said Weilspinner. "And as far as noses go, these are nice - no hooks, beaks, or bumps."
