Andyco Scientists Smell Success in Genetically Modified Food Research.

Andyco scientists continue to develop new varieties of genetically modified foods, though with admittedly mixed results so far.

"We feelwe're headed in the right direction," claims project coordinator Dr. Boris Weilspinner. "Though there are a few issues we still need to iron out."

Most recently, while perfecting a new variety of disease resistant eggplant, researchers were discouraged by a prominent nose-like growth on the vegetables.

"We're not quite sure where we went wrong, but at least they're not runny noses," said Weilspinner. "And as far as noses go, these are nice - no hooks, beaks, or bumps."

And while uncertain that the public is ready for vegetables with human-like growths on them, Andyco scientists remain optimistic about the future of genetically modified foods.

The eggplants, along with other altered food products, please visit the Andyco cafeteria.
